With a background as a trade qualified carpenter, in 2007 Richard Williams established idraw. Over the following decade, the design business successfully operated from its Havelock North and Taupo location producing high quality building documentation. Then in 2018 his role was expanded to include the in-house design of new homes. This experience has given Richard a sound knowledge and understanding of construction detailing and the building industry. He has developed strong relationships with local authorities and consultants.
Idraw’s objective is to supply a high quality, cost effective and professional design service. From developing initial concept designs to draughting detailed construction plans, idraw offers creative, practical and affordable solutions to enhance your lifestyle and/or business needs. We can design new homes, alterations to existing homes, commercial and industrial buildings. We have undertaken projects valued from $20,000 through to projects worth over $2million. We place a strong emphasis on building enjoyable and close working relationships with clients. We understand the importance of the client’s brief and budget, practicality of their needs and instil confidence within the building industry.
Idraw is a Licensed Building Practitioner (LBP) to Design Level 2 and also a member of ADNZ.
